THREEPENNY OPERA SUITE
The selected music comes from The Threepenny Opera, a satirical theatrical work by Bertolt Brecht, with music by Kurt Weill. Weill’s music is characterized by a style that blends elements of jazz, cabaret, and classical music, reflecting the satirical and popular nature of the work.
In the first part of the evening, there will be two solo performances: Anastasia Fioravanti on piano, performing music by Dmitri Shostakovich, and Andrea Coruzzi on accordion, performing music by Latin American composers as well as his own original compositions.
At the end of each concert, guests will enjoy tastings of fresh summer delicacies offered by Fabbri 1905 and Regina di Quadri.
