The Count d'Almaviva wants to marry the beautiful Rosina and for this he gets help from Figaro , the barber-factotum who becomes the director of all the actions. Figaro resorts to tricks and disguises; for him, success in the "Rosina operation" will lead to an increase in prestige and economic well-being. But Rosina is kept segregated at home by her old guardian, Don Bartolo , from whom she wants to escape and, if she wants to marry Almaviva, she must collaborate in the intrigues, emancipating herself from the role of house and church girl. Thus begins a process of unmasking false values and abandoning current morality. The conclusion with the happy ending will be Bartolo's surrender and the triumph of love.
