Ginga (real name Claudia Scapolo) was born in Luanda on October 15, 1986.
He approaches his first musical experiences as a pianist, winning twice in a row, at the young age of 12 and 13, a coveted prize in the “ Young notes for little musicians ” competition in Piazzola sul Brenta.
She began her vocal training under the guidance of maestro Gianluca Caporello, a tenor who introduced her to the classical vocal technique.
He then comes to jazz singing, attending various workshops with Kate Parker, American singer and jazz musician.
As she continues her vocal training, Ginga discovers her love for the gospel genre: since 2010 backing vocalist and soloist of the " Summertime " gospel choir of Padua, she is now a backing member of the prestigious " Halleluja Gospel Singers " choir, a project of the famous vocal coach and singer. American, queen of gospel in Italy, Cheryl Porter , who leads her to tread the most prestigious stages of Italian theaters.
Ginga was selected among the finalists, with 5 other performers among more than 14,000 members, of the international competition Tour Music Fest 2014, presided over by judge Mogol, performing at the Piper in Rome, the historic temple of Italian and international music.
He participated as a backing vocalist in the Christmas album released in November 2014 by Mario Biondi "A very special Mario Christmas".
Recently she performed as a soloist in her project "Ginga in Jazz" for the inauguration of the 73rd Venice Film Festival 2016 at the prestigious location of the Hotel Danieli in Venice.
In September 2016 he participated as Zucchero's chorister with the Halleluja Gospel Singer & Cheryl Porter and in the Rai 1 television program "Partigiano Reggiano" and both at the concert that Zucchero held at the Arena di Verona on 25 September 2016
