The soul or the violin it is a story that takes place in the intertwining of music and storytelling.
Through the story of a soldier who sells his violin to the devil in exchange for his soul, the concept of duality between good and evil is expressed. The soldier, that is the man, can choose to have easy money, money, but this well-being can hide dangers, it can have consequences including losing happiness and the things that really matter in life: affections, friendship. , being real people.
The soldier will remain a victim of his own riches, but I will have an opportunity to redeem himself, he will have a second chance and, if he knows how to grasp it, he will finally have rediscovered the meaning of life.

THE ORCHESTRA
The Baraccano Orchestra was born within the activities of Theater of They baraccano of Bologna, where a production and research project on the theater is carried out chamber music.
IS was founded in 2013 and is directed by its artistic director Giambattista Juggles .
The Orchestra has produced numerous musical theater performances both independently both in co-production and collaboration with the Teatro Comunale di Bologna, BSMT productions and the University of Bologna.
Among the productions we remember: the musicals A Little Night Music And Sweeney Todd by Stephen Sondheim, the show Histoire du Soldat by Igor stravinskij, the projects At the Opera! , symphonies, interludes and overtures of the Italian opera e 4th Gustav Mahler , the fourth Symphony by Mahler, arranged for chamber orchestra.
In 2017 he carried out the following projects: Popular songs , with soloist Cristina Zavalloni, a new Histoire du soldat with the reciting voice of Ivano Marescotti and The Barber in Comics , "The Barber of Seville" for music, animations and Manga comics, designed by Tsukishiro Yuko, in international co-production with the Japan.
The goal of the Orchestra is to play, with formations for chamber orchestra, musical works originally composed for large orchestras, producing new scores played "in real parts".
THE DIRECTOR
GIAMBATTISTA GIOCOLI
At first clarinetist , born in 1976 in Matera, he studied clarinet in his hometown and then graduated from Conservatory of Bologna.
As an instrumentalist he studied with Perrone, Quarenghi, Tirincanti, Pay and Carbonare, immediately starting an intense concert activity in Italy and abroad.
Carry out registrations for Italian and foreign radios, recording several classical and contemporary music CDs.
For 10 years he collaborated with the opera and symphonic seasons of the Municipal Theater Orchestra from Bologna with which he performs many tours in Italy and abroad.
He has collaborated with contemporary music ensembles FontanaMIX from Bologna and with the ensemble Wild Trails of Milan, with a concert activity in Europe and Asia.
In 2013 he made his debut as conductor in the production of American musicals and in the same year he founded the Baraccano Orchestra , with which he produces chamber musical theater projects and symphonic projects that he still carries on tour.
Since 2015 he has been collaborating as guest conductor with the Orchestra of the Toscanini Foundation of Parma , and from 2017 with the Rossini Symphony Orchestra of Pesaro . In 2018 he also began collaborating with Lucana Orchestra Foundation and Virtuosi of the Italian Opera.
