New production  SOUND ACTS

in collaboration with Bologna Harp Festival

February 2, 9 pm
at the Duse Theater

POPULAR SONGS

concert with music by Manuel De Falla, Luciano Berio and Maurice Ravel, with the "popular song" in the center

The Siete canciones populares españolas by Manuel De Falla and the Folk songs by Luciano Berio, interpreted by the voice of Cristina Zavalloni , show us how tradition can be crossed by the eccentric gaze of authors of Western "cultured" music.

Another protagonist of the program will be the harp , already present in the pieces by De Falla and Berio, which will become a soloist in the famous Settimino by Maurice Ravel .

Here, played by Davide Burani , it will express itself to its full potential, through variations and developments of popular themes, in an effective whirlwind of sound beams with a popular flavor.
