ATER - EMILIA ROMAGNA THEATER ASSOCIATION August 12, hours 21.30 CONCERT FOR JACK LONDON based on the short story "The Game" by Jack London The Concert for Jack London , is a jazz melodrama of love and boxing that sees theater and music meet and brings to the fore international musicians such as Fabrizio Bosso on trumpet and Luciano Biondini on accordion, accompanied by a narrator of caliber such as Silvio Castiglioni . The artistic development of the project was entrusted to Silvio Castiglioni for the textual and directing part and to Fabrizio Bosso and Luciano Biondini for the music. The result is a tribute to the most translated American writer, whose death centenary was celebrated in 2016, the father of White Fang and Call of the Forest , journalist, but also gold digger, oyster fisher, vagabond, social activist and much more, and had enormous success thanks to his novels. The show is based on his short story The Game (The game or The sport of the ring, depending on the translations), freely adapted by Silvio Castiglioni to make it congenial to the scene. A boxing story to the rhythm of the best sports reporter which he was able to be, among many other things, and at the same time a moving and heartbreaking love story. In the background the ductile and sulphurous soundtrack of Bosso's trumpet and Biondini's accordion. AUTHOR'S NOTES On stage with Bosso? Honored! Very honored, I thought when I received the offer to work with this giant of contemporary music, but what do I do? .... That's how I stumbled upon London, my old never-gone love. And who hasn't been in love with London? A real American at full speed. First I turned to the great epics of the Yukon, sled dogs, frost, extreme and even more famous London, then I remembered a boxing story that I have always loved and left closed in the drawer waiting for an opportunity to bring it back to light… Here it is, the opportunity. He had been an unrivaled boxing reporter when boxing was semi-underground. He also wrote about a great black boxer, when blacks were forbidden to fight - as women were forbidden to attend matches! Vivaldi Six 12 August, 9.30 pm | Courtyard of the Baraccano Theater Entroterre Festival VIVALDI SIX six sonatas for cello and continuo by Antonio Vivaldi LUIGI PRETOLANI He had a good career as a cellist, graduating in Florence in 1991, specializing in Munich with teachers of international level, giving more than 500 concerts, in various formations, throughout Europe, recording for radio broadcasts and recording three CDs. In 1997 he began a new professional path by founding the Bruno Maderna Orchestra of Forlì and immediately took over the organizational and administrative leadership as President. In a few years from its foundation, the B. Maderna Orchestra, thanks also to the adequate funding of the Cassa dei Risparmi Foundation and the agreement with the Municipality of Forlì, has been able to be appreciated nationally and internationally, becoming the main production body within the programming of the Diego Fabbri Theater in Forlì, a permanent artistic ensemble in the Summer Music Festival of the Province of Forlì and Cesena. In 2002 Luigi Pretolani was commissioned by the Ravenna Festival to manage the orchestra, the choir and the setting up of the stage for the Musicians of Europe project which saw Maestro Riccardo Muti conducting 93 orchestral first parts of the main European orchestras and 85 choristers, in Ravenna, at Avery Fischer Hall in New York, and at Ground Zero, for a commemoration in honor of the victims of 9/11 in New York. ANTONIO MOSTACCI Antonio Mostacci graduated with Sante Amadori at the Pesaro Conservatory and studied with Franco Rossi, J. Starker and Ivan Schiffoleau in Paris. He began his concert activity at the age of 16 in a Trio with his father Luigi Mostacci at the piano and the clarinetist Italo Capicchioni (Italian Chamber Trio) playing in all the most important European cities. He won the first prize at the Vittorio Veneto, Catanzaro, Stresa, Moncalieri competitions and was awarded in international competitions such as "Maria Canals" in Barcelona and "Viotti" in Vercelli. He actively dedicates himself to Chamber Music and to the teaching of the Cello at the Conservatory of Bologna. He has also played as a soloist with various orchestras in Italy and abroad, in Duo with Miriam Garagnani throughout Europe, the United States and Japan and in Australia with the Trio Metropolis (Annamaria Morini, Flute and Miriam Garagnani Pianoforte). He was part of the Quartet formed by the violinist Nigel Kennedy on the occasion of the Chechester Music Festival (GB). He collaborated and collaborates as first cello with the orchestra of the Massimo Bellini Theater in Catania, with the Marche Regional Orchestra, with the Philharmonic and the Municipal Theater of Bologna, "gli Archi di Firenze", the Officina Musicale (L ' Eagle). Giardino Zed, Festival, Videodanza 11 July - 3 August - 1 September ZED International Videodanza Festival / Compagnia della Quarta ZED GARDEN videodance installation After the appointment of the last few months on the web, Giardino ZED becomes Live, invades the spaces of the Teatro del Baraccano, projects itself into the future by hosting, from July to September, frontal projections, at 360 degrees, video installations, information tools and augmented reality and virtual reality projects. ZED garden Live will accompany viewers on a multimedia and interactive journey to discover the creativity, wonder and visual worlds of this rapidly expanding art. It is a sound and visual installation path that starts from the videodance experience to tell three different ways of perceiving space, gaze, sound. A "sensitive / sensorial" experience that leads the viewer towards expanded visual landscapes, as opposed to the architectural boundaries that host it; a journey that shows videodance, touches emotional chords and uses new technologies with 360 ° projections ; an event that uses perception to overcome physical spaces and visual limits.
