Va dove va l'acqua, Teatro delle Temperie, teatro July 24, 9.15 pm Temperie Theater GOES WHERE WATER GOES tale of the Bologna of water There is another Bologna made of rivers, made of canals, a Bologna of water. A city that exists in history, in memories, in memory, but which still exists today, hidden among the houses, behind the ancient buildings, under the streets, hidden in small holes, where the water goes, placid ... where the water never stops… where water still reigns supreme. There was a time when water was the soul of Bologna, it was the engine of the economy. It was the defense of the city; if Bologna is our heart, the canals are our arteries, water is the blood of our community. Even today, those channels pulsate with stories, speak of men and women, keep secrets, carry memories. Through some of these wonderful stories, these freshwater stories, we will travel together in the veins of our beloved Bologna, where the Rhine pulsates. The stories and emotions that overflow from the Rhine together with its waters. All the stories of men and women, of peoples and countries that the water of the Rhine carries from the source to the valley remain entangled in the Casalecchio Lock and here they rest a little before resuming the journey. Sometimes these stories are so strong and numerous and exciting that they can no longer resist and break the banks, such is their need to be told. A magical evening in which we will give voice and music and body to these wonderful stories, right in the place where the river gently lays them with love. February 16, 9 pm in collaboration with Bologna Harp Festival SYNANTYS Sangineto Ensemble Sparkling energy and great musical ability of two twins, Adriano and Caterina, born to a luthier father and raised in an environment pervaded by the music of great artists (such as Alan Stivell, The Chieftains and Carlos Núñez). Their concert combines ancient sounds and harmonies with modern rhythms and transports the audience into a riot of twists, alternating melodic suggestions of the Celtic tradition with more modern and unexpected musical genres: a Celtic harp and an arched psaltery (created by the hands wise men of his father Michele Sangineto) who move the most intense strings of the soul, leaving freedom to the masterful timbre of the two voices. An explosive mix for a performance that amazed the Russian, Belgian, Dutch, Spanish, French and Anglo-Saxon audiences. The Sangineto Ensemble was born in 2000 and initially includes all the members of the Sangineto family: the father Michele, the mother Paola and the two twins Adriano and Caterina. He performs throughout Europe presenting a repertoire of ancient music from the Middle Ages to the French, Italian and English Renaissance while exporting the instruments of the Sangineto violin making in festivals, reviews and exhibitions of musical instruments in France, Germany, England, Switzerland, Hungary, Spain and Belgium. Today the core of the group is made up of the two twins Adriano and Caterina Sangineto. Formed within the artistic environment of their father, Michele Sangineto, luthier of Celtic harps and bowed psalters, the twins could only develop a natural inclination for ancient music, which they approached in the very first phase of their musical growth. to then arrive at popular music in all its facets, with a special predilection for the Irish, Breton and French tradition. Thanks also to their classical training (they both studied successfully at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan) and to the knowledge of popular pop music, the group aims to reinterpret and recover the European musical tradition in a modern perspective, updating the use of ancient and popular instruments. Ensemble Sangineto is an ever-expanding, versatile and multifaceted project that skilfully combines archaic sounds and harmonies with modern rhythms and arrangements that are affected by influences from various musical genres: jazz, classical, Gregorian chant, musical, pop and Celtic music. In the direction of an interpenetration of all these genres, the musical experimentation of the Ensemble was born: songs mainly from the Irish, Scottish and Breton tradition, but also Italian, alternate original pieces that reflect the heterogeneity of the musical experiences of the musicians. Fascinating mixes in sparkling interpretations characterize one of the most exciting and original emerging groups in the Italian panorama of Celtic music. The precious combination of the harp and the arched psaltery and the magical blend of voices, the suspended and dreamy atmospheres, all in a riot of vibrations that envelop in their intense purity. The Ensemble collaborates with the international artist Carlos Núñez and occasionally with guitarists Tiziano Cogliati and Jacopo Ventura. www.adrianosangineto.com Ticket € 14 (full), € 12 (reduced) Buy tickets

Mysliveček 21 August, 9.30 pm | Courtyard of the Baraccano Theater in case of rain 22 August RESPIGHI SUITE The Ancient arias and dances for lute are a collection of free transcriptions from pieces for lute of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, created by Ottorino Respighi and organized in three suites for different orchestral ensembles. In 1917 Respighi created the First Suite , in 1923 the Second Suite , in 1931 the Third Suite . His wife Elsa collected and rearranged them all in 1937. In our original arrangement the eight real parts that make up the ensemble try to reproduce all the orchestral colors conceived by Respighi, with the aim of creating a fascinating synthesis between ensuring the presence of fundamental instruments for Respighi, such as the harp and the harpsichord, and the search for a new and modern sound with the inclusion of accordion and bass tuba. Scheda Popular Songs RADIO RITMO on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Guglielmo Marconi (1874- 1937) On October 30, 1938, Orson Welles' radio broadcast triggered panic, making people believe that an interplanetary conflict had begun through an alien invasion in New Jersey, giving rise to the first major fake news spread through a means of communication. Freely inspired by The War of the Worlds, RADIO RITMO aims to recall the impressive communicative power of radio and, at the same time, stimulate reflection on the impressive effect of the media and their reliability. From a concert hall, where an orchestra is performing, the apocalyptic expedient of H. G. Wells' text begins. SOUND ACTS 12 and 13 February, matinee for schools IN THE NAME OF A ROSE In this show, themes such as the meaning of life and the meaning of love and friendship are addressed. Each planet visited by the protagonist, who travels in the Universe, represents a metaphor of human nature. The King represents the thirst for power. The Vanitosa is a symptom of a gaze turned towards oneself and not towards the other. The drunkard is the emblem of the social unease of lonely people. The businessman is the explicit reference to the frenzy of the world. The Lampionario is the only figure of a man who does something useful, that is, he deals with something other than himself. Finally, the Geographer is the metaphor of knowledge, in which emotions are its engine, just as affectivity moves knowledge. Company ChiE'diSCENA 05 08 010 06 07 011

La Praga di Kafka Praga non ci lascia più andare. Questa piccola madre ha gli artigli. Non c’è altro da fare che cedere. Per potersene liberare bisognerebbe darle fuoco da due lati, il Vyšehrad e il Hradčany. Franz Kafka Il Barbiere a Fumetti was born from a musical idea: Vincenzo Gambaro's suite on the music of Rossini's Opera, arranged for wind orchestra. In this musical version, Maestro Giocoli decided to combine the intricate story of Rosina , told by the unpublished drawings of the Japanese mangaka Tsukishiro Yūko. Two apparently distant languages, united however by the story and the expressiveness. The opera plunges into the contemporaneity of Japanese comics, the immediacy of the visual art is intertwined with the sound, giving back a new and original version of the work that can also speak to a young and contemporary audience. The new arrangements that ATTI SONORI has produced for chamber orchestra have given life to a new score for 10 real parts , in which the work is stripped of the recitative parts and stages only the music, while the comics are projected onto a backdrop. scenographic and tell the story through the suggestion of the images.
