  • Sassolino

Il Barbiere a Fumetti was born from a musical idea: Vincenzo Gambaro's suite on the music of Rossini's Opera, arranged for wind orchestra. In this musical version, Maestro Giocoli decided to combine the intricate story of Rosina , told by the unpublished drawings of the Japanese mangaka Tsukishiro Yūko. Two apparently distant languages, united however by the story and the expressiveness. The opera plunges into the contemporaneity of Japanese comics, the immediacy of the visual art is intertwined with the sound, giving back a new and original version of the work that can also speak to a young and contemporary audience. The new arrangements that ATTI SONORI has produced for chamber orchestra have given life to a new score for 10 real parts , in which the work is stripped of the recitative parts and stages only the music, while the comics are projected onto a backdrop. scenographic and tell the story through the suggestion of the images. • Soqquadro italiano

26 July, 9.15 pm Entroterre Festival ITALIAN SOQQUADRO who's afraid of Baroque? Who's afraid of Baroque? certainly curious title, "borrowed" from the famous play by E. Albee "Who's afraid of Virgina Wolf". It is not a concert or even a theatrical show, but an unusual and amusing insight into the Italian music and culture of the seventeenth century. A continuous dialogue between ancient and modern, a refined game of fusion, aimed at ranging between jazz improvisation and the art of diminution, between jokes of the Commedia dell'Arte and swing atmospheres. Claudio Borgianni draws heavily on the musical and literary repertoire of the seventeenth century, dismembering it, deforming it, and finally reassembling it in order to trace the points of continuity that bind us to that distant world. Vincenzo Capezzuto , a peculiar voice with a rare and indefinite texture, former principal dancer and multifaceted artist is "the voice and the body" of this project, always poised between cultured expressiveness and popular immediacy. Who's afraid of Baroque? involves the viewer in an atmosphere of magical emotion, guiding him towards the rediscovery of a century so distant and complex that it reveals itself to our senses in all its extraordinary and simple modernity. • Synantys

February 16, 9 pm in collaboration with Bologna Harp Festival SYNANTYS Sangineto Ensemble Sparkling energy and great musical ability of two twins, Adriano and Caterina, born to a luthier father and raised in an environment pervaded by the music of great artists (such as Alan Stivell, The Chieftains and Carlos Núñez). Their concert combines ancient sounds and harmonies with modern rhythms and transports the audience into a riot of twists, alternating melodic suggestions of the Celtic tradition with more modern and unexpected musical genres: a Celtic harp and an arched psaltery (created by the hands wise men of his father Michele Sangineto) who move the most intense strings of the soul, leaving freedom to the masterful timbre of the two voices. An explosive mix for a performance that amazed the Russian, Belgian, Dutch, Spanish, French and Anglo-Saxon audiences. The Sangineto Ensemble was born in 2000 and initially includes all the members of the Sangineto family: the father Michele, the mother Paola and the two twins Adriano and Caterina. He performs throughout Europe presenting a repertoire of ancient music from the Middle Ages to the French, Italian and English Renaissance while exporting the instruments of the Sangineto violin making in festivals, reviews and exhibitions of musical instruments in France, Germany, England, Switzerland, Hungary, Spain and Belgium. Today the core of the group is made up of the two twins Adriano and Caterina Sangineto. Formed within the artistic environment of their father, Michele Sangineto, luthier of Celtic harps and bowed psalters, the twins could only develop a natural inclination for ancient music, which they approached in the very first phase of their musical growth. to then arrive at popular music in all its facets, with a special predilection for the Irish, Breton and French tradition. Thanks also to their classical training (they both studied successfully at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan) and to the knowledge of popular pop music, the group aims to reinterpret and recover the European musical tradition in a modern perspective, updating the use of ancient and popular instruments. Ensemble Sangineto is an ever-expanding, versatile and multifaceted project that skilfully combines archaic sounds and harmonies with modern rhythms and arrangements that are affected by influences from various musical genres: jazz, classical, Gregorian chant, musical, pop and Celtic music. In the direction of an interpenetration of all these genres, the musical experimentation of the Ensemble was born: songs mainly from the Irish, Scottish and Breton tradition, but also Italian, alternate original pieces that reflect the heterogeneity of the musical experiences of the musicians. Fascinating mixes in sparkling interpretations characterize one of the most exciting and original emerging groups in the Italian panorama of Celtic music. The precious combination of the harp and the arched psaltery and the magical blend of voices, the suspended and dreamy atmospheres, all in a riot of vibrations that envelop in their intense purity. The Ensemble collaborates with the international artist Carlos Núñez and occasionally with guitarists Tiziano Cogliati and Jacopo Ventura. www.adrianosangineto.com Ticket € 14 (full), € 12 (reduced) Buy tickets
