Aida, Orchestra del Baraccano, concerto, tournée, Basilicata Il Barbiere a Fumetti was born from a musical idea: Vincenzo Gambaro's suite on the music of Rossini's Opera, arranged for wind orchestra. In this musical version, Maestro Giocoli decided to combine the intricate story of Rosina , told by the unpublished drawings of the Japanese mangaka Tsukishiro Yūko. Two apparently distant languages, united however by the story and the expressiveness. The opera plunges into the contemporaneity of Japanese comics, the immediacy of the visual art is intertwined with the sound, giving back a new and original version of the work that can also speak to a young and contemporary audience. The new arrangements that ATTI SONORI has produced for chamber orchestra have given life to a new score for 10 real parts , in which the work is stripped of the recitative parts and stages only the music, while the comics are projected onto a backdrop. scenographic and tell the story through the suggestion of the images. - Due vecchiette dirette a Nord
Between One Act and the Other in collaboration with ATER - Emilia Romagna Theater Association 20 October, hours 21 21 October, 5 pm TWO OLD WOMEN GOING NORTH Deux petites dames vers le Nord by Pierre Notte In Two direct old ladies in the North - a sort of road movie with two “elderly” Thelma and Louise - the actresses tackle the theme of death through the ironic writing of Pierre Notte . Annette and Bernadette have just lost their mother and decided to bury her ashes near those of their father, in the north of the country. But in reality a daring journey begins, both real and metaphorical, full of memories and accounts to close. A mix of corrosive humor and tenderness. " Deux petites dames vers le Nord is a delicate fantasy about disrupted mourning. It is the refrain of reconciliation, belated but real, between people. It is not so much the pain of loss, but rather the moment in which it is possible to laugh, sometimes , even suddenly, unwittingly, as if by magic, as if guided by a ghost, when we learn of someone's death. who accept to take their ghosts by the hand and dance with them instead of carrying them on their shoulders ”(Pierre Notte). In the long and tiring search for a text for two actresses, which would respond to certain decisions theatrical and dramaturgical characteristics, we came across Pierre Notte's text and immediately wanted to stage it. Thanks to the great availability of the author and the kindness of the talented translator - Anna D'Elia - we were able to start this journey "in four": Angela, Francesca, Bernadette and Annette. A journey into the fears of the future which, as the theater teaches, can be - if not defeated - faced through irony. Old age, loss, grief and the past weigh heavily ; they often stiffen us, they extinguish our will to continue to give meaning to that last portion of life as well. Annette and Bernadette seem to affirm their diversity only to nourish the eternal conflict that animates their daily life: in reality they are much more similar than it seems in the continuous exchange of arrogance and fragility, of bravado and naivety. Above all, they will find themselves firmly accomplices in deciding to live again, to discover again and to dare what was previously unthinkable. What will your last words be before you die, they ask each other? Annette - Thanks for everything, see you soon Bernadette - Thanks for everything and see you next time The father, twenty-five years earlier, had taken his leave saying “it's okay anyway, a lot of review”. The author, through the two petites dames, seems to suggest to us the idea of a possible return, of a death that puts us in a perennial cycle of transformation and rebirth. We want to believe him. Angela Malfitano and Francesca Mazza Pierre Night Pierre Notte has written for the theater since the early nineties; general secretary of the Académie française between 2006 and 2009, he is also a journalist, poet, novelist, actor, director, as well as the author of radio texts and cabaret shows. He is a Knight of Arts and Letters and has received many awards for his work including the Molière du Théatre privé. with Angela Malfitano | Bernadette Francesca Mazza | Annette translation Anna D'Elia sound Alessandro Saviozzi video interventions Lorenzo Letizia Thanks to Fabrizio Arcuri and Maurizio Cardillo Ticket 12 € (full), 10 € (reduced) Buy tickets due vecchiette vanno a Nord_Malfitano_Ma Angela Malfitano e Francesca Mazza due vecchiette vanno a Nord_Malfitano_Ma Angela Malfitano e Francesca Mazza
- Sette canzoni per Bruno
Bruno Maderna July 6, 9.15 pm FontanaMIX ensemble - In.Nova Fert SEVEN SONGS FOR BRUNO a concert / documentary for Bruno Maderna's 100th anniversary Sette Canzoni per Bruno is a tribute that the FontanaMIXensemble and the "In.Nova Fert" Collective dedicate to Bruno Maderna on the occasion of the centenary of his birth. The concert / documentary represents the final moment of a research work and of a "Madernian" laboratory, with composers and performers, which wants to restore the image of the man and the artist, recalling the historical weight of his contribution and reflecting on his music as an example of an eternal classic. A different way to creatively revive the thought and the work suspended between a profound humanism and the rigor of the Neue Musik , between the love for ancient music and the game of magic squares , between a complex thought and a light one. Sette Canzoni per Bruno is made up of several expressive elements: one visual, one narrative and one musical. Fragments, sketches, magical squares of Maderna's work, also taken from the transcriptions of authors of the past and of the lighter production, represent the sources for free compositional elaborations that together form a musical tale strongly imbued with his way of making music and his tenacity to always investigate the new. In the same way the projections present in the concert / documentary collect and elaborate fragments of the life of the Venetian composer, of his intense activity as director and popularizer, forming visual compositions that interact musically with the elaborations for ensemble. The final result are seven musical moments for voices, ensembles, videos and electronics , which tell seven different chapters of Maderna's life, as a violinist and director of The Happy Grossato Company to the composer of the great masterpieces of the '70s. The compositional work curated by the In.Nova Fert Collective was made possible thanks to the precious consultations of the audiovisual material preserved at the Maderna Study Center of the Department of Arts of the University of Bologna. "From the childhood of an enfant prodige, between jazz and conducting, to the discovery of the Gabrieli and Monteverdi, to the comparison with the postdecaphonic lesson, here is the standing portrait of one of the protagonists of the music of the second half of the twentieth century, who often he preferred to highlight others and not his work, in a frenetic activity that always had an extraordinary humanity as its center of gravity, the pendulum of the most reckless artistic adventures. It is an action linked to time, rhythm and joint fragility determined by the failure to the other rather than to himself. Dance becomes an act of learning and real-time evaluation of an energetic condition that allows the creation of a shared space, a complex and articulated place where the conditions for coexistence are established. Musica di Igor Stravinskij, testo di C. F. Ramuz. Con Ivano Marescotti e l'Orchestra del Baraccano, diretta da Giambattista Giocoli HISTOIRE DU SOLDAT SOUND ACTS March 29, 9 pm at the Duse Theater music by Igor Stravinskij, text by CF Ramuz ACTI SONORI stages the “poor” Opera that Igor Stranvinsky composed in 1918, against the sumptuous canons of traditional opera. The story is taken from the Russian fairytale tradition and has as its protagonist a soldier, an emblematic victim of the world conflict of the Great War. The soldier's story it concerns humanity as a whole and, in particular, the issue of the impossibility of man to escape his own destiny. Histoire du Soldat | by Gianluca Cheli This work was initially conceived as a work for puppets: a simple and immediate artistic product, with a strong symbolic component. Here the graphic gesture is chosen as a marionette sign to reveal the dark aftertaste of the ironic atmospheres, musically outlined by Stravinskij in his chamber work. Elements that return in the expressive sign of the most submerged plane of the Histoire du Soldat: the melancholy, and all in all a bit funny, feeling of predetermination, combined with the creative madness of Russian fairy tales, from which the work takes its cue. February 16, 9 pm in collaboration with Bologna Harp Festival SYNANTYS Sangineto Ensemble Sparkling energy and great musical ability of two twins, Adriano and Caterina, born to a luthier father and raised in an environment pervaded by the music of great artists (such as Alan Stivell, The Chieftains and Carlos Núñez). Their concert combines ancient sounds and harmonies with modern rhythms and transports the audience into a riot of twists, alternating melodic suggestions of the Celtic tradition with more modern and unexpected musical genres: a Celtic harp and an arched psaltery (created by the hands wise men of his father Michele Sangineto) who move the most intense strings of the soul, leaving freedom to the masterful timbre of the two voices. An explosive mix for a performance that amazed the Russian, Belgian, Dutch, Spanish, French and Anglo-Saxon audiences. The Sangineto Ensemble was born in 2000 and initially includes all the members of the Sangineto family: the father Michele, the mother Paola and the two twins Adriano and Caterina. He performs throughout Europe presenting a repertoire of ancient music from the Middle Ages to the French, Italian and English Renaissance while exporting the instruments of the Sangineto violin making in festivals, reviews and exhibitions of musical instruments in France, Germany, England, Switzerland, Hungary, Spain and Belgium. Today the core of the group is made up of the two twins Adriano and Caterina Sangineto. Formed within the artistic environment of their father, Michele Sangineto, luthier of Celtic harps and bowed psalters, the twins could only develop a natural inclination for ancient music, which they approached in the very first phase of their musical growth. to then arrive at popular music in all its facets, with a special predilection for the Irish, Breton and French tradition. Thanks also to their classical training (they both studied successfully at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan) and to the knowledge of popular pop music, the group aims to reinterpret and recover the European musical tradition in a modern perspective, updating the use of ancient and popular instruments. Ensemble Sangineto is an ever-expanding, versatile and multifaceted project that skilfully combines archaic sounds and harmonies with modern rhythms and arrangements that are affected by influences from various musical genres: jazz, classical, Gregorian chant, musical, pop and Celtic music. In the direction of an interpenetration of all these genres, the musical experimentation of the Ensemble was born: songs mainly from the Irish, Scottish and Breton tradition, but also Italian, alternate original pieces that reflect the heterogeneity of the musical experiences of the musicians. Fascinating mixes in sparkling interpretations characterize one of the most exciting and original emerging groups in the Italian panorama of Celtic music. The precious combination of the harp and the arched psaltery and the magical blend of voices, the suspended and dreamy atmospheres, all in a riot of vibrations that envelop in their intense purity. The Ensemble collaborates with the international artist Carlos Núñez and occasionally with guitarists Tiziano Cogliati and Jacopo Ventura. www.adrianosangineto.com Ticket € 14 (full), € 12 (reduced) Buy tickets
